Cookie policy

Strictly necessary
Your cookie choice is stored in your browser (local storage, 12 months). Stripe sets its own cookies on its payment page to prevent fraud.
Analytics (optional)
Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _ga_*), which expire after 13 months: statistics on how the site is used. Only after you accept. User-level and event-level Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months . This is separate from the lifetime of the cookies.
Marketing (optional)
Google Ads cookies (_gcl_*), up to 90 days: to measure whether a booking came from one of our ads. We also save the ad click id with your booking. Only after you accept.
Google Consent Mode
We use Google Consent Mode in its "advanced" form. The Google tag loads with all consent types set to "denied". Until you accept, and after you decline, it sets no cookies, but it does send limited cookieless signals to Google: for example the page address, the time, browser information and your consent state. If you arrived from one of our ads, the page address can contain an ad click identifier (gclid); we ask Google to redact ad click identifiers while marketing cookies are not allowed. Like any request on the internet, these reach Google with your IP address. Google uses them to model statistics and conversions. When you accept, the tag uses cookies as described above.
Who receives data
Google (Google Ireland Ltd.) receives the limited cookieless signals described above before you choose and if you decline optional cookies. If you accept the relevant categories, it also receives cookie-based measurement data. How Google uses this data: business.safety.google/privacy.
Record of your choice
When you make a choice, we store a record of it on our server (a random identifier kept in your browser, your choice and the time), as proof of consent, for 3 years. It does not contain your name or contact details.
